Utilize Drones To Scout Your Fields To Determine Crop Health
HDS uses today's most advanced technology to scout and analyze your entire field. With a special camera attached to the drone we capture hundreds, sometimes thousands of Near Infrared (NIR) photos. The NIR camera sees in a different light spectrum than a human can. We take the NIR photos and upload them to NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) software that overlays each photo to produce a 2D map of your field.
The NIR map shows areas of highly vigorous crops in green and weak crops or bare soil in bright red. Plant health is displayed with a greater range of detail than the color image. Plants will often show response to damage or disease in NIR images before the same response is visible with a color image.

As you can clearly see there are green, yellow, & red areas on the map. This shows you where your crops are healthy (Green) where they could use some attention (Yellow) and where there are some serious issues (Red).
